This option is available to clubs as well as associations. It is possible for a member to have duplicate records but not be identified by the system. This would occur if any of the three fields are not exactly the same (eg. incorrect date of birth or spelling error in name). In cases such as these the member can be ‘manually‘ marked as a duplicate.
To manually mark a member as a possible duplicate:

The member will be added to the list of possible duplicates for resolution.
Please Note: In the instance of a member having two records within the same association database, the association should mark the most recently added record as the duplicate, not the original record. They should also ensure that the three key fields (first name, family name and date of birth) are identical before marking the member as a duplicate.
