Uploading a competition from Sportzware Central will automatically create websites (one for each club in your Sportzware database). Administrators that have already completed the steps 1 to 5 below simply need to upload to the web in order for club websites to appear. For administrators that have not yet created any competitions in Sportzware Central, set up a 'dummy competition' so that you can complete a competition upload and create the club websites. You can then hide this competition from appearing on your site.
1. Set up a database for your association if one does not already exist.
2. Add the clubs into the database
3. Add Venues
4. Create a Competition
If you already have existing competitions in your database, there is no need to set up a dummy competition. Just do an upload to the web. If you don't yet have any competition draws in your database and simply want to create club websites (and tend to competition fixtures at a later stage), create a dummy competition with a couple of games and teams, and make sure a venue is assigned to the games. You can hide this competition after you have uploaded it to the web.
5. Add Teams/Clubs and Generate the Fixture
6. Upload competition and hide on the website
To upload to the web you will need your competition upload codes. Contact your state or governing body to obtain your code if you do not have it.
Click here for instructions on how to upload to the web
This will create a 'Clubs' section on your website, containing links to each club's sub-site.
7. Hide the dummy competition from appearing on your website.
Log into your website as the Website Editor. You have two options - (1) Hide the entire 'Fixtures/Results' section through the Content Manager or hide the dummy competition through Competition Options. Make sure the 'clubs' section is active in the Content Manager.
8. Give the club access to their website.
