Sportzware Central - Ladders
A ladder (also commonly known as a table or standings) is a list of competitors within a competition sorted from highest to lowest ranking by user-defined fields (eg. points).
View Ladders
- From the Daily Admin module click Ladders.
- Highlight a competition and click Select to view the ladders for that Competition.
Note: All matches for a round must be completed before the ladder is built for that round.
- You can also view the match results for each team by either double clicking on the team name or clicking on the + icon on the left of the Position Number.
Adjust Ladders
A Ladder Adjustment involves making a manual change to a ladder that the program cannot accommodate for otherwise. These usually occur due to specific association rules or regulations.
- From the Daily Admin module click Ladders (as seen above).
- Select a Competition and click Select to view the ladders for that Competition.
- Right click on the team who's ladder record you want to change and click Adjust
- Add a number into the field/s you want to adjust and click Ok.
Note: The number you enter will adjust that field accordingly, e.g. if you want to add 2 matches to the “Played” field, then enter the number 2. Use negative numbers to subtract from the team’s ladder data.
- To update the changes, click Ok then at the View Ladders screen click Rebuild.
Rebuild Ladders
- From the Daily Admin module click Ladders.
- Highlight a Competition and click Select to view the Ladders for that Competition.
- Click Rebuild to update the ladder for all matches with results entered and implement any other adjustments that you have made to the ladder.
- You may multi-select competitions from the Competition screen and then rebuild these competitions.
Filtering Ladders By Day
You can filter the ladders to show results and statistics from only one given day in a compeition.
- To filter ladders by days click on the Filter By Day button at the top of the Ladder Administration screen then select the day from the drop down list.
Note: If there has been no matches on the day you have selected the Ladder Administration screen will become greyed out and no ladders will be displayed.
