Match Official Pay

A Match Official is a person who adjudicates, or oversees the running of a match.
Note: Match Official payments will be calculated based on values entered in this window as Match Officials are added to Matches. These are only the default payments, and they can be changed independently for each Match.

Add a Payment to a Match Official

1. To add a payment value to a match official type click on Daily Admin then click on the Match Official Pay button.
2. In the screen that opens you can Add a Payment to Match Official by Grade, Add a Payment to Match Official by Type and Add/Edit a Match Official Type. These are explained below.

Add Payment to Match Official by Grade

As you will see there are several pre-set Grades with Basic and Field Umpire pay values already assigned.

1. To edit the pay value for one of these doube click in the number value.
2. Input the value you would like to set for that match payment.
   
   
   
   
3. To save the changes click Ok.

Add/Edit a Grade

1. At the Match Official Pay screen click on the Add/Edit Grade Button
2. If you wish to edit a pre-existing Grade highlight that Grade at the Grades Administration screen then click Edit
3. At the screen that opens make the necessary detail changes then click OK. The table below explain the fields for each input detail.
   
   
   
   
4. To add a new Grade simply click Add at the Grades Administration screen, fill out the details at the screen that opens. The table below explains each field.

Add/Edit Grade Fields Table

Field Name	Description	Example
Name	The name of the grade that you are adding/editing.	Juniors A Grade
Short Name	Could be an abbreviated version of the "Name" or a Grade nickname	JAG
Division	This is the division that the Grade sits within.	Western Division 1
Level	This drop-down box allows you to select the level that the Grade sits under. To add or edit a level click on the pencil next to the box.	Second
Match Duration	This is the standard match duration time for matches played in this grade (in minutes).	80
Loyalty Points	A points system for members who are loyal to the grade. Generally this field can be disregarded.	10

Add/Edit a Match Official Type

You can also edit Match Offical types from the Match Official Pay screen.

1. At the Match Official Pay screen click on the Add/Edit Offical Type button.
   
   
   
   
2. To edit a pre-existing Match Offical type highlight that official and click the edit button.
3. To add a new Match Official type click the Add button.
4. In the screen that opens edit the details in the fields the click OK to save. The below table explains these fields.

Add/Edit Match Official Type Fields

Field Name	Description	Example
Code Type	This box can not be changed because you have chosen to specifically add a Match Official	Match Official Types
Sport	Select the sport that they will be officiating from the drop-down box.	Touch Football
Match Official Type	Input your own title for the Match Official Type.	Boundary Umpire
Abbreviation	An abbreviation of the Match Official Type you have created.	BU
Active Checkbox	This box needs to be checked if the Official will be added to matches and active in the competition	This will either be checked or unchecked.
