Sportzware Central 6.3 - Release Notes

NOTE: This release of Sportzware Central contains a new version of the Firebird database engine offering enhanced compatibility with Windows Vista (32-bit versions only). Whilst this should alleviate most issues we are still in the process of testing for Windows Vista, and consequently can not guarantee that Sportzware Central will be completely error-free on this platform. Please look for the next release to be fully compatible with Windows Vista.

General

Enhancements:

1. French support has been added.

Bug Fixes:

1. Entering a new Network code resulted in an error in some cases.

Membership

Enhancements:

1. Career games broken into grades (by level).
2. Ability to open new window (membership) from full match entry screen to allow user to check player details, e.g. active status.
3. Record Active checkbox added to Membership Administration.
4. The existing filter list in Membership Administration is now sorted alphabetically to allow easier access to filters.

Bug Fixes:

1. In some cases an Internal Clearance would not move a member to their new club.
2. In a member’s player tab all competitions the member is registered in display regardless of games played.
3. Column sort has been enhanced.

Competitions

Enhancements:

1. A sub-venue structure has been added to allow the user to specify venues within venues. This is linked with clash resolution so that clashes can be accurately identified.
2. Historical competitions listing: A new report filter to allow the user to select only active competitions has prevented the need to scroll through historical competitions.
3. Filters added to the top of the Player Registration Screen.

Bug Fixes:

1. Fixture import from excel has been updated.
2. Career game totals should calculate correctly.

Daily Admin

Enhancements:

1. Umpire payment structure has been modified to use a grid layout to allow more flexibility in assigning pays.
2. Match Locking Mechanism. Locking of selected games for online results instead of game by game
3. Non-competitive ‘junior’ games: Ability to ‘process’ non competitive games without having to enter the game and put in a 0-0 scoreline.
4. New Match officials can be created in Match Official Allocation

Bug Fixes:

1. Selecting multiple ladders for printing should now output the correct ladders.
